IMVIZE is delighted to announce the appointment of Rodrigo “Rod” Ibieta as Chief People Officer. With more than 40 years of experience, Ibieta brings a powerful combination of strategic HR leadership, global perspective, and a commitment to talent development. His impressive career includes creating progressive, brand-positive initiatives, supporting employees, and driving business growth.

As IMVIZE’s Chief People Officer, Ibieta will shape internal culture, talent strategy, and company partnerships. His focus will be on empowering employees, clients, and partners to thrive in their roles by leveraging best-in-class technologies and implementing innovative ideas. Ibieta’s professional philosophy reflects IMVIZE’s people-first approach and a commitment to leading by example.

Most recently, Ibieta served as the Human Resources Director at Amkor Technology, where he created an engaging, people-centered workplace designed to maximize employee satisfaction and success. Before Amkor Technology, he held senior HR leadership positions at some of the world’s most respected organizations, including Intel, Freescale Semiconductor, Maxim Integrated, Analog Devices, and Cytec Technologies. 

Ibieta also supported Arizona Public Service as the HR leader for its power generation business, and consulted for the U.S. Army, where he earned a Distinguished Civilian Service award for his work.

Ibieta holds a bachelor’s degree in linguistics from the Universidad de Chile, a master’s degree in educational technology from Johns Hopkins University, and a doctorate in computer science and education from Arizona State University. Outside of the office, he is a lifelong learner and creative spirit, moonlighting as a keyboardist in a local jazz/rock band, Jade Road.
